Welcome to the home of WheelMUD, we continue to be a project dedicated to the creation of a Windows based MUD server built using .net framework 3.5 and C#
I need to upgrade DotNetNuke to the latest stable version, which is 4.9.3. I need to do this before I move the site to the new PowerDNN hoster. I started the process by sending a request to PowerDNN. They have acknowledged, and are waiting for me to begin the process. Please visit http://wheelmud.codeplex.com if you have problems with this site. We will experience some down time, but I'm not exactly sure how much at this time. Most of the problem will be related to DNS records not propagating fast enough.Your friendly invisible System Administrator

The test MUD now supports creating new characters. Same address and port as the previous announcement.
I just set up a test MUD for everybody to play again. This will contain the latest code. I'm in the process of hooking this up to the build server, so that it will get automatically updated. I will be updating it manually, until this process gets setup.
To connect, please set your telnet/mud client with this configuration:
Host/Server: mud.wheelmud.net Port: 4000
Creating new characters is currently broken, so please use "crashdummy" as the user name, and "password" as the password for now.
Have fun!
Well, Karak has pretty much taken me out of my hiatus. I got several items in the CodePlex Issue Tracker for 0.3 already closed. So if you want to help, please look at the Issue Tracker over at http://wheelmud.codeplex.com
Anyways, there's plenty to do. Please head over there and vote for features that you want to see implemented. That will help us prioritize our work.
I finally got a hold of Comcast to have my cable modem service moved to the new addresss. We are moving on March 1st, and Comcast is supposed to be at the new place on March 2nd. So it looks like this site will be down for only a short bit.
Please go to http://www.codeplex.com/wheelmud if it is down longer than that. I will post any notices there.
Hopefully, things will go well enough, but you never know.
